In fact, innovation and brand transformation are the threads that run through his 20 years of groundbreaking work for American Express, USPS, Starbucks, GE and Verizon. He’s been able to help brands and agencies embrace and integrate digital via creative, design, advertising, product, platform, and UX.
Sung is currently Chief Creative Officer of MRM//McCann, a leading customer relationship agency that leverages the power of creativity, the beauty of data, and the magic of technology to help brands grow meaningful relationships with people. The agency was recently named Ad Age’s 2018 B2B Agency of the Year, a 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Global Digital Marketing, and ranked as one of the most innovative agencies by the Cannes Lions. His current clients include the USPS, GSK, Microsoft, and Samsung.
Prior to MRM//McCann, Sung was Executive Creative Director of AKQA. There, he helped launch the Go90 video service for Verizon as well as launched their retail store redesigns. He helped launch Starbucks’ Reserve coffee line and their store exprience as well as Maserati’s foray into social. He also served as Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy, leading product design for Motorola, Nestlé, and Castrol.
He began his career pioneering interactive TV at NBC and has built mobile apps, payment systems, interfaces and experiential installations for Sony, Nike, Kraft and Time Warner. He has taught at Columbia University, Miami Ad School, and the School of Visual Arts.

Pre-registration closes on at midnight prior to the event, at which point walk-in registration fees will apply for members, student members and nonmembers.
Cancellations received by the office at least two business days prior to the event are eligible for a refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received fewer than two business days prior to the event. No-shows will be billed for any unpaid registration fees.
If you have registered, are unable to attend, and would like to give your co-worker your “ticket,” please note that a pre-registered member to non-registered member switch-out is free. Switch-outs from members to non-members will execute an invoice to the attendee for payment after the event.
